3rd and 4th May | Hamburg Kidney Days

On the 3rd and 4th May there will be a conference “Kidney Days Hamburg” held for the first time as part of the “13. Hamburger Nephrologie Forum”.

There has been a lot of improvements and developments in nephrology in recent years. There are promising new therapeutic strategies to cure kidney disease or at least reduce their progression. Furthermore, there are new promising substances in clinical trials. The research has also gathered new insights and understanding of underlying pathologies leading to the development of new therapeutic strategies.

On this two-day spanning congress, national as well as international speakers are presenting new results from research and practice. The congress focusses on glomerular diseases of the kidney. Additional there will be presentations about genetic kidney diseases, arterial hypertension, transplantation and chronic kidney diseases.

Among the speakers there are scientists of the SFB 1192 as well as nephrologists of the III. Department of Medicine, UKE Hamburg, who are sharing their latest efforts in research.
