19th February - Lab Meeting
At our lab meeting today at 2 pm in Campus Research (N27), ground floor room 14, Mr. Mittrücker will present subproject A4 with the title: "Renal T cells".
14th February - New Publication
We are pleased to announce that a new publication of our two subgroups B8 and B9 has been accepted by Cells.
13th February - New Publication
There is a new publication in Hypertension available by our subgroup B7 of the first funding period of the CRC.
Apply for new Scholarships of the Research Training Group!
The new iteration of the research training group "Mechanisms of Immune-Mediated Tissue injury“ and of the Else Kröner-Fresenius foundation will start on the 1st April 2020.
3rd December - Guest Lecture
We are glad to announce another guest lecture. We welcome Ms. Bröker from the University of Greifswald and are eager to hear her talk about "Staphylococcus aureus, multifaceted interactions with the adaptive immune system".
2nd December - New Publications
We are pleased to inform you that the following publication, a cooperation of the projects B2, B3, B5 and B6, has been accepted by Kidney International.
Journal Club December
There will be interesting papers presented at our upcoming journal clubs in December . Alexandra Linke will start on the 2nd December, followed by Vinh Luu on the 16th December.
26th November- Lab Meeting
Ms. Seifert will talk about the project B2 and "THSD7A-associated MN: from antibody binding sites to new disease models – a three year PhD journey" at our next lab meeting.
Collaborative Research Centre to be continued
The Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1192 "Immune-Mediated Glomerular Diseases" of the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) will be funded for another four years.
19th November - Guest Lecture
We are happy to announce another exciting guest lecture. Ms. Prof. Renata Pasqualini from New Jersey will give a talk a about ''Ligand-directed Targeting & Molecular Imaging in Cancer and Obesity’’.
13th November - Lab Meeting
At the upcoming lab meeting of the CRC 1192 Mr. Zhao will talk about the project C3 as well as about ''High-dimensional single cell profiling in immune-mediated glomerular diseases''.
Journal Club November
We will have two journal clubs in November. Lennart Robben will start and present latest publications on the 4th November, followed by Jennie von der Heide later at the 18th November.
30th October - Lab Meeting
At our next lab meeting of the CRC, Mr. Prof. Koch-Nolte and Ms. Dr. Wanner will talk about the project B5 as well as "Nanobody-based treatment strategies in glomerulonephritis".
28th October - Guest Lecture
We are happy to have Mr. Dietmar Zaiss from the University of Edingburgh with us, who is going to talk about: ’’Crosstalk between the EGFR and TGFbeta as a regulator of local inflammation’’.
23rd October - Lab Meeting
Mr. Asada will talk about project A1 (Panzer) about: "Translational regulation in poised Th17 cells via stress granules" in the upcoming lab meeting of the CRC 1192.
Heisenberg scholarship of the DFG for Priv.-Doz. Dr. Elion Hoxha
We congratulate Priv.-Doz. Dr. Elion Hoxha, who was included in the Heisenberg program of the DFG for his outstanding scientific achievements and future projects.

We are glad to announce, that we have another guest lecture on the 18th October. Mr. Prof. Mark Cooper (Monash University) will join us and will talk about "Uncomplicating diabetes".
16th October - Lab Meeting
In the upcoming lab meeting of the CRC, Ms. Linke from project group A2 will talk about "CD8+ T cells in crescentic glomerulonephritis.”
9th October - Guest Lecture
For our next lab meeting, we have Dr. Sybille Köhler from the University of Edingburgh talking about “Drosophila melanogaster: a tool to study kidney function”.
